We are currently looking to expand our operations in both the UK and Europe and as a result have several openings:

Job:

Business Development FRANCE (x1 opening)

Wage: Negotiable based on experience – basic + sales commission
Hours: Nominally 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: France based, home office
Duration: Permanent
Details: Excellent communication skills are paramount, as is attention to detail and an enthusiastic and outgoing manner. We distribute and support software that is used by electronics engineers in companies big and small across Northern Europe. Continued success is driving growth and territory expansion. We are immediately adding France, Spain & Belgium to our territory and are putting a new sales team in place to cover. Primary responsibilities are to develop and execute scalable marketing strategies to uncover new opportunities and drive our sales pipeline. We require an experienced technology professional, confident in all aspects of a customer facing commercial role. You will be expected to build on our existing customer database as well as obtain and develop new contact lists. You will work with our entire sales and support team as well as liaising with key supplier personnel.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a customer-facing business development role selling to the engineering / electronics sector. EDA experience a plus
  • Effective communicator, able to manage both business and technical relationships with a wide array of technology and channel partners across the globe
  • Instinctive commitment to the highest levels of customer service
  • Meticulous and efficient work style
  • Excellent communication skills – oral & written, both in FRENCH & ENGLISH
  • Be an excellent communicator and negotiator with a natural flair for influencing others
  • Previous experience in business-to-business sales. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of winning new business and successfully managing existing accounts.
  • Previous experience of field-based sales activity
  • Travel required: mostly Europe – must have clean driving license and access to an appropriate vehicle
  • Key account management
  • Ability to work effectively with senior management, on all sides (customer, supplier, internal)
  • Sourcing and developing new customers and business opportunities for the company

Sales Administrator (x1 opening)

Wage: £17-19k per annum + sales commission
Hours: Nominally 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Sleaford, Lincolnshire, UK
Duration: Permanent
Details: Excellent communication skills are paramount, as is attention to detail and an enthusiastic and outgoing manner. We distribute and support software that is used by electronics engineers in companies big and small across Northern Europe. Our established sales office (in Sleaford town centre) needs new team members to drive growth. Primary responsibilities include working closely with your sales and support colleagues to develop sales opportunities in both our existing customers and new prospects. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of supporting and contributing to the success of a busy sales office.

Sales Engineer (HES) EUROPE (x1 opening)

Wage: Negotiable based on experience – basic + sales commission
Hours: Nominally 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: UK, Bracknell or home office
Duration: Permanent
Details: Excellent communication skills are paramount, as is attention to detail and an enthusiastic and outgoing manner. We distribute and support software that is used by electronics engineers in companies big and small across Northern Europe. Continued success is driving growth and territory expansion. We are seeking a Sales Engineer, with a background in digital ASIC/FPGA design, specifically to support our Aldec HES product line across Europe. You will be the local technical specialist working with customers and assisting them through evaluations and supporting flow and methodology development. You will report directly into Aldec for your work direction whilst still being part of our broader sales team. This role would suit an engineer keen to exercise their knowledge of design and verification on a wider stage whilst also gaining international customer-facing support and sales experience. Full product specific training will be given.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ professional experience working as an electronics engineer. Ideal candidate will have focussed on the design and verification of digital devices (ASIC/FPGA) using hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog)
  • More specifically, we are looking for competency with large Xilinx devices (e.g. Virtex-7, Zynq-7, UltraScale). This includes the entire tool chain: simulation, synthesis and P&R
  • Experience with advanced methodologies such as UVM would also be plus, as would hands-on experience with some form of hardware-based verification e.g. prototyping, emulation or co-verification
  • Previous technical marketing experience would also be a plus. Article and blog writing would be required, as would presenting at relevant technical events
  • A natural enthusiasm for problem solving, using your initiative and going the extra mile to provide enduring and scalable solutions
  • Good working knowledge of IT (Windows, Linux), development tools (e.g. Eclipse) and debug environments and methodologies

  • Comfortable talking to customers on the phone and discussing their requirements, challenges and project goals
  • Develop and deliver training for web-based and onsite delivery
