Aldec's Regression Automation enables Renesas to manage 10,000 HDL Simulators concurrently
Henderson, Nevada – April 17, 2006 -- Aldec, Inc., a pioneer in mixed language simulation and advanced design tools for ASIC and FPGA devices, announced today the installation of its Server Farm Manager (SFM) at Renesas Design Viet Nam Co., Ltd. (RVC). RVC is a subsidiary of Renesas Technology Corp., a leading Japanese semiconductor vendor established as a joint venture between Hitachi, Ltd. and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. Renesas plans to utilize SFM to automate the process of running over 100,000 test vectors on Linux 64-bit machines. Using SFM will provide RVC with parallel verification of its microprocessor based system-level designs.
